A train enthusiast's delight! This beautifully renovated Grade II listed station master's house is situated right on the platform of the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway. Visitors to this unique property enjoy unlimited travel on trains winding their way through the breathtakingly lovely scenery of the Dee Valley between Carrog and Llangollen 1½ miles away. A lovely town famous for its annual music eisteddfod Llangollen also boasts horse drawn canal boat excursions canoeing on the white waters of the river and a fine selection of pubs restaurants and shops. From the town narrow boat excursions cross the amazing Pontcysyllte aqueduct and many outdoor activities including mountain bike riding gorge walking white water rafting absieling and climbing are readily available. Pub serving food 50 yards.
