Careful conversion of a handsome range of stone built farm buildings has created well appointed comfortable holiday accommodation within easy reach of a wealth of attractions. Bird watching enthusiasts will love the Red kite feeding station at Rhayader and there are superb walking and mountain biking trails in the Cambrian Hills as well as amidst the lakes of the wonderful Elan Valley. Dolphin watching excursions and steam train journeys are always popular and this lovely stretch of Heritage coastline encompasses many safe sandy beaches including Clarach with its rock pools (1½ miles) and Borth (5 miles). Whilst easily accessible via good roads the narrow winding lanes and rolling hills of this delightfully unspoilt region of Wales are all part of its considerable charm. Aberystwyth itself boasts a good selection of shops entertainments pubs and eateries cinema and arts centre as well as golf and indoor leisure facilities.
