Easily reached by good roads, surrounded by the stunning open countryside of the Vale of Usk, and with easy access to the Brecon Beacons this attractive holiday cottage dating from the 18th century, offers comfort and convenience. Walking along the Monmouth to Brecon Canal and Usk Valley Walk is available as are golf courses, fishing, water-based activities on Llangfedd reservoir in summer and canoeing on the Wye. Raglan Castle, Hay on Wye, the Roman Fortress at Caerle on the Usk, Museum of Rural Life and Tintern Abbey are easily reached. Usk (3 miles) has local services, antique shops and restaurants and is a regular winner of Britain in Bloom. The Open Gardens Weekend (late June) is a must.
