The appropriately named Limpet is all about the location. Set on the cliffs overlooking secluded Cove Beach below, with views down the coast to Start Point its difficult to imagine a better setting. The Southwest Coast Path passes the door and gives visitors access to miles of beautiful coastline, perfect for dog walking, bird watching or rock pooling. The village of Torcross is a short walk down the hill and has an excellent pub, two cafes and a local shop, or go down the steps to the beach and along to Beesands, for the Britannia Fish Shack and the Cricket Inn. The brave could take a bracing swim before breakfast! Limpet has everything you will need for &lsquosea for two;, airy in summer and cosy in the winter. The studio/living room has comfortable seating, a dining table by the window to take advantage of the views, and a king-size bed from where the beam of the lighthouse will keep you company and the sound of the sea lull you to sleep. There is a separate, well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a sunny garden area where you can relax and enjoy the sea views to the horizon. |
